Summary

Khaata stores all your ledger data locally in your browser. We do not operate a server that receives your person names, amounts, or transactions.

Local storage

Person records and transactions are saved in localStorage on your device. Clearing browser data will delete your ledger unless you export a PDF report first.

Cookies & advertising

With your consent, Google AdSense may set cookies for ad delivery and measurement. You can reject non-essential cookies via the banner on the homepage.

PDF export

You can download a PDF report of your ledger from the app. The file is generated on your device and is not uploaded anywhere.
